The Herzogstand area, with its T-bar lift below the summit, also offers experienced skiers something that is hard to find elsewhere: challenging terrain and slopes groomed exclusively with natural snow. The 1.3 km long descent with a view of Lake Kochelsee is unparalleled and reminiscent of skiing over the fjords of Scandinavia or Canada.
